Benjamin Steinegger ha elaborat la tesi doctoral titulada "Modelling the interplay between human behaviour and the spread of infectious diseases: From toy models to quantitative approaches".

Els directors de tesi són els professors Alex Arenas i Clara Granell, i s'ha fet en el doctorat en Estudis Humanístics.
